About 30,000 people are rushed to U.S. emergency rooms each year because they've
amputated a finger, and one of the top two causes is getting fingers slammed
in doors.
In fact, in children age 4 and younger, three out of four finger amputations
resulted from fingers that were caught, jammed or crushed in an opening or closing
door.
If you ever have children or grandchildren in your home, protect their fingers
from being harmed by a closing door with these durable foam Finger Guards! It
is recommended to install them on all doors that children may be opening and
closing.
They're simple to install, as they grip to the side or top of just about any
door frame (SixWise.com recommends installing them higher up, out of kids' reach.)
Once you want to shut the door, just pop off the guards.
Finger Guards:
- Available in 2-pack: Install one on each door that children use in the home
- Keep doors from slamming and helps prevent painful and serious finger injuries
- Are SIMPLE to install and remove
- Fit most exterior and interior doors
- Are soft and flexible
- Made of a sturdy, non-toxic, high-density thermoplastic.
- Are an EXCELLENT VALUE!

My son is almost 2 and loves shutting doors but can't reach the
handle to re-open them. These have been great not only to save the fingers,
but also to keep him from shutting himself in a room and getting stuck there.
Wonderful product.
These are great!
I just had a baby girl 2 months ago. My husband ordered these off of the internet.
I also have a 2 1/2 year old little girl who absolutely loves runing inside
and out. These have saved lots of little fingers I tell ya! If you are thinking
about buying these, no need to think anymore... They are great!

The best out there!
I have used finger guards that attach to the knob side of the door, which
leave baby's fingers unprotected on the hinge side...of course that's where
my 10 month old wants to put her fingers when she attempts to open and close
the door. These finger guards are much better. They don't allow the door to
close far enough to pinch tiny fingers on the hinge side of the door. They
have saved her from hurt fingers MANY times already. A great product!
