equestrian centers - for your pet's sake and your own you should seriously consider

Whatever you do, please AVOID the conventional flea and tick treatments on
the market, including the popular sprays, collars, and bombs. In recent years,
some highly publicized legal cases have brought the news to the forefront --
flea and tick control products can be extremely hazardous,
some containing highly noxious nerve gas. We encourage you to read the
article, Double-Danger: Fleas &
Ticks and their Common Treatment Products, for more information.
Unlike the other flea and tick treatments on the market, Flea 'n Tick B Gone

For Your Pet's Sake, Please AVOID the
Popular
Pesticide-Based Flea and Tick Treatments
The pesticide formulas in the widely known flea and tick products:
- Can be neurotoxic
- Have shown reproductive problems in labs
- Can cause genetic damage
- Some have been classified as carcinogens
- Can damage pets' liver
- Toxic effects are cumulative and can build and deplete your pet's immune
system
Flea 'n Tick B Gone is an enzyme-based formula made naturally from plant resources,
so it's entirely free of pesticides. It has been clinically proven to be highly
effective, and can be used full strength or in a 50/50 solution with water (for
milder infestations).
Unlike other monthly applications or pills that work to break the life cycle
of fleas, Flea 'n Tick B Gone works immediately to eliminate fleas and ticks.
The other pesticide-based brands can take 24 to 48 hours to take effect.
Flea 'n Tick B Gone is Easy to Use!
Flea 'n Tick B Gone can be applied in one easy treatment: you just:
a) saturate
b) lather
c) rinse
d) and comb out!
Here is a little more detail for its particular uses:
Application for Fleas
Use a 50/50 mixture for fleas and full strength for ticks. Spray around
neck to discourage pests from running to areas of the face. BELOW the neck
completely saturate pet's hair. After 10 minutes, add a small amount of water
and work into a lather. Rinse thoroughly with water and use a comb to remove
any remaining pests.
Application for Ticks
(always use full strength) Spot Treatment - Spray Flea 'n Tick B Gone TM
directly onto the tick and wait at least 10 minutes. Remove the tick using
a method that will protect you from disease: gloved fingertips, tweezers or
any other tick removal equipment.
Complete Body Treatment
Apply Flea 'n Tick B Gone TM as directed for fleas, but allow it to remain
on the pet for at least 30 minutes before lathering, rinsing and combing.
Fleas and Ticks Carry a Variety of Diseases
-
Tapeworm
-
Anemia
-
Severe Skin Irritation
-
Lyme Disease
-
Babesiosis: [bab-EE-see-OH-sis] A rare parasitic disease that is
transmitted to people by infected ticks.
-
Ehlrichiosis: [air-lick-ee-OH-sis] A newly recognized bacterial
disease that is spread by infected ticks
-
Tick Paralysis
-
Flea allergy Dermatitis (an allergic reaction to the flea's saliva)
in pets causes severe itching that leads to chewing, compulsive biting,
licking, and scratching.
Individual tick bites can cause skin damage, irritation, inflammation, and
hypersensitivity. A large number of tick bites can cause anemia. Some ticks
secrete toxic saliva that can cause paralysis. All ticks
can carry and transmit disease.
Lyme disease is one of the most common tick-transmitted
diseases in the world and can affect both cats and dogs. Its most common
symptoms are arthritis, lameness, loss of appetite, and depression. It can also
cause cardiac, neurological, and kidney disease.
Canine ehrlichiosis (tick-borne fever) damages and decreases the production
of blood cells, leads to anemia, lowered disease resistance, and abnormal bleeding.
Though the prognosis is usually good, ehrlichiosis can
be fatal.
Fleas and Ticks are Developing a Resistance
to the
Popular Pesticide-Based Treatments
To get rid of these pests, consumers have a variety of choices for their pets:
flea collars, tags, bombs and foggers, powders, dips, pills and topical applications.
The one deadly commonality of all these commercial, name brand products is pesticides.
The EPA has also qualified many commercial brands using pesticides as "deadly".
Furthermore, many of these products have not been proven to effectively kill
ticks, only fleas. And now both fleas and ticks are
developing resistance to many of the leading pesticide-based flea and tick treatments!!!
Flea 'n Tick B Gone, meanwhile, is 100% pesticide-free and has been clinically
proven to be just as effective as the leading pesticide-based treatments out
there. Plus, because it is based on a proprietary blend of plant-based extracts
(not toxic chemicals) Flea 'n Tick B Gone attacks and
prevents fleas and ticks in a different manner
and fleas and ticks cannot
develop a resistance to it!
Furthermore - unlike the pesticide-based products - Flea
'n Tick B Gone can be applied regularly during peak flea and tick months and
be used as a preventive as well as a treatment!
